Fiona T Frank is an award-winning contemporary classical composer and violinist whose evocative music is intimately bound to the natural world. Having previously lived and worked within the Bristol music scene, Fiona relocated to the Wye Valley near Tintern, where the dramatic local landscapes, rivers, and woodlands became the primary catalyst for her acoustic compositions.
Writing in a largely tonal, accessible, and cinematic modern idiom, Fiona’s chamber and orchestral works have earned widespread international acclaim. Her compositions have achieved a global reach, featured by prominent ensembles everywhere from Berlin to Brussels. Most recently, her music was selected to tour across Italy - including prestigious showcases in Rome and Padua - and travelled to Iceland for the WindWorks in the North festival.
