We hold our regular sessions at St. Mary’s Church Hall in Saltford, BS31, 3EL. The hall is located just off Saltford High Street in Queen’s Square.
If you’re driving from the Bristol direction on the A4 (Bath Road): take a left down Norman Road, just before ‘Vyoo Windows’, and this will lead on to the High St.
If you’re driving from the Bath direction on the A4 (Bath Road): take a right down ‘The Shallows’ - identified by the 20mph speed limit - follow the road past the marina and take a left once you reach the High St (by The Bird in Hand pub).

There are a few spaces at the church hall itself, including a couple of blue badge spaces. Otherwise, there is free street parking nearby,

Many of our members share lifts in an informal ‘car pool’, so please do ask if this is of interest. We may also be able to provide community transport, if demand is high enough for it.

We run on Monday and Wednesday mornings, most weeks, although with some breaks (typically around the school holidays).
Sessions start at 10:30am and we finish the ‘exercises’ by 11:30, allowing half an hour for refreshments and chatting at the end.

Yes, the church hall is fully accessible and there is an accessible toilet on site.

We currently only accept cash each week.

Whilst we would recommend that regular practice provides the most benefit, there is no obligation to attend every week.
You will be provided access to a selection of ‘at home’ videos which you can utilise in your own time, if, for example, you’re not able to join us in person.

Most of our participants feel vulnerable about singing - for a number of reasons - and there is no pressure to sound ‘good’, or even engage in the group singing, if you don’t want to!
We do recommend participating in the vocal exercises, however, as they are specifically tailored to strengthening the voice and mitigating some of the effects of PD.

Absolutely! Whilst our specialism is Parkinson’s, our facilitators are experienced in a range of neurologic conditions and would be more than happy to discuss your requirements further.

No, several of our participants attend alone. You will be welcomed into our friendly group with open arms!
