Jack Baldus

Jack Baldus is an accomplished, Bristol-based keyboardist, virtuoso jazz pianist and producer. Known for his incredible versatility, dynamic performance energy and signature mastery of the talkbox, Jack is a central figure in the South West's contemporary jazz, funk and soul communities.
Originally from Ross-on-Wye, Jack was classically trained from an early age before diving deep into the roots of jazz fusion, funk and modern soul. He is best known as the core keyboardist for The Soul Strutters, one of Bristol's most explosive, high-energy live bands, and he regularly leads the Jack Baldus Collective to deliver heavy, organ-driven groove sessions across regional venues.
Equally at home commanding festival stages or crafting intimate arrangements in classy cocktail houses, Jack has spent over a decade anchoring Bristol's live music scene. Alongside his extensive live session schedule and role as a dedicated local piano tutor, he is an active songwriter and producer, releasing acclaimed, therapeutic solo art-rock and experimental music under his project name, “Jackson”.
