Anders Olinder

Pianist, Organist & Composer

Anders Olinder is a highly sought-after Bristol-based pianist, keyboardist and master organist. Born in Sweden and of Swedish and Syrian descent, Anders has built an outstanding reputation as one of the most inventive and versatile musicians in the UK jazz, soul, and funk circuits.

Drawing deep inspiration from icons like Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner and Stevie Wonder, his distinct style combines brilliant harmonic phrasing with a driving, rhythmic groove. Renowned for his “shape-shifting” ability across genres, he is equally at home delivering classic, percussive Hammond B3 organ sounds as he is executing intricate contemporary jazz piano.

Over his prolific career, Anders has toured and recorded internationally alongside an extraordinary roster of global music royalty, including Peter Gabriel, Amy Winehouse, Courtney Pine, Pee Wee Ellis (James Brown Band) and Glenn Hughes (Deep Purple). While frequently performing at major venues in London and abroad, he remains an invaluable anchor of the Bristol music community, regularly collaborating with groups like the Bristol European Jazz Ensemble and leading dynamic local residencies.
